Review: Chameleon Ryediculous IPA0

I previously reviewed the Hop on Top from Chameleon Brewing Co., and it wasn’t to my liking. Today I have another offering from Chameleon, their Ryediculous IPA. I have had IPAs of this style in the past it so far it has turned out well. A good balance can be achieved between the earthy notes, spices, and bitterness.

Review: He’Brew Bittersweet Lenny’s R.I.P.A0

The line of He’Brew beers is the product of Schmaltz Brewing Company and is cleverly marketed as “The Chosen Beer.” The beer that I chose is the Bittersweet Lenny’s R.I.P.A, a rye-based Imperial IPA brewed in honor of Lenny Bruce. At 10% ABV it’s going to take a lot of work to mask the alcohol notes and achieve a balance. Having sampled some other He’Brew beers, such as the Jewbelation 14, I can say that I’m very excited about this one.

Review: Philadelphia Rowhouse Red0

Up today for an in-depth look is the very local Philadelphia Brewing Company’s Rowhouse Red, their Farmhouse/Saison style Ale. Refreshingly average for the style is a stamp of 5% ABV for this 12 ounce bottle. Pictured on the front is what appears to be an elegant looking rowhouse, hopefully situated somewhere in Philadelphia.
