The New Holland Mad Hatter IPA checks in at 5.8% ABV from a 12 oz bottle I purchased stamped “10/6.” While not an absolutely ideal bottle, being a bit more aged than the majority, it still provided a solid and excellent taste. I poured this one into one of my many standard pint glasses for this taste. It poured a very rich (darker) amber color and was accompanied by an off-white head.

This IPA from Southern Tier, lures the intrigued IPA adventurers with a 6.9% ABV. I really enjoyed reviewing this IPA because to me this is what defines the style. I tested this fine specimen straight from the bottle as I could barely contain my excitement but found it necessary to grab a pint glass to see the pour. The beer pours smoothly and is a nice pale amber color, as one would expect from an IPA.
