Review: Samuel Adams The Vixen1

The Boston Beer Company, makers of the Samuel Adams beer brand, may be be one of the grandfathers of the craft beer moment but they still try to innovate producing new and interesting beers. One such beer is The Vixen, a bock brewed with chilies, cocoa nibs, and cinnamon. Adding chilies and cinnamon to a beer can be a dangerous affair; too much and it bombs the palate, too little and you don’t get the favors. Hopefully with The Vixen some balance has been achieved.
