A new holiday beer for us this year, Southern Tier’s 2XMAS is categorized on BeerAdvocate as an “Herbed/Spiced Beer” coming in at 8% ABV. 2XMAS has an interesting flavor profile that has characteristics from both the spiced Witbier holiday style, and the classic Winter Warmer style.

Perhaps one of our favorite breweries, The Bruery, is back on the show with their latest in barrel-aged innovation, White Chocolate. Starting with a Wheatwine base, this massive 14.25% ABV beer is aged in bourbon barrels with vanilla beans and cocoa nibs.

Review: Old Dominion Morning Glory0

The Delaware based Old Dominion Brewing Company has been a staple in the Philadelphia-area market for quite some time. One of their newest beers, Morning Glory, is a 9% ABV Imperial Stout made with real espresso beans. Being a huge coffee lover, any beer made with it is a must try for me.
