Nice review guys! I actually have both of these in the house right now, so might have to crack into them this weekend. Unfortunately the bottle of Maharajah I have is from 2008..one of the stores in my area gave it to me with a purchase just to get it out the door.
I recalled enjoying the Maharaja much more on tap than I did in the bottle. It really seemed to mellow out, in both hoppiness and carbonation. The Holiday Ale, on the other hand, was much more up my ally in what I look for in an Imperial IPA.
