Review: Bud Light0

Let me start off by saying this brew was a gem! I immediately fell in love with this beer as soon as I saw the price tag. Cheap, inexpensive, and it has alcohol in it; what more could a beer lover ask for? After deciding to pick up a six pack of Bud Light I was excited to crack open my first one.

The beers come in a convenient driving container; you can twist off the cap. I, however, resisted the urge and waited until I got home to try this beer. The excitement was building after seeing billboards with really attractive woman on the way home from the distributor with Bud Light in their hands. Seeing this made me excited just to know that I too have the opportunity to hang out with beautiful women by being able to taste the drinkability that is Bud Light.

There is a reason Bud is the “king of beers.” Bud Light. This brew was smooth going down, with a slight burn when it came back up. First, the aroma is pleasant. After my time drinking craft beer it was wonderful whiffing a beer with such subtle grain, and public water scent.

I did not get the opportunity to examine the color and pour; I was more excited about the beautiful women arriving. I started cracking these beers open and enjoying. Being able to have the flavors dance across your palate is something to experience. Bud Light hits a home run in taste. I can taste the drinkability. It tasted similar to water with grains. I had no alcohol burn, just pure pleasure.

I enjoyed the whole six pack myself eating Mexican takeout, waiting for the beautiful woman from the billboard to arrive. While eating, I think the jalapeƱo set my mouth on fire and I quickly attempted to extinguish the flames with the goodness named Bud Light. Unfortunately, the beer went down the wrong tube and caused a gag reflex. Good news is the beer came back up. Wow the flavor on the way up was nothing short of magical. I kept it in my mouth the whole way to the trash can. This was one of my most memorable experiences to date. I stayed up most of the night waiting for the beautiful woman but none came. I thoroughly enjoyed this brew, however, the lack of delivering on the promise of beautiful woman takes this beer down a notch.

Overall: 9.5/10
