Concluding my series of reviews of the Dogfish Head “Minutes” is the 120 Minute IPA. I’ve reviewed both the 60 Minute and 90 Minute in the past, and finally we’re down to the biggest of them all, the 120 Minute IPA. This Imperial IPA comes in at a whopping 18% ABV and is recommended to be shared.

Over this past weekend, Nick and I, along with our friends, stopped by Craft Ale House, one of our favorite spots for an incredible craft beer selection. One of the delicious brews we had on tap for the first time was Gordon Ale at 8.7% ABV from Oskar Blues Brewing Company.

Completing our reader request for a beer review, we have the Sam Adams Noble Pils on draught, at 5.2% ABV. This beer received such an overwhelming response from the beer community that they’ve actually replaced it as their Spring seasonal (the former seasonal was their White Ale).

Ever since I tried my first Dogfish Head beer, I’ve been a fan. Recently, the Olde School Barleywine caught my attention from both my love for the brewery and the style and ABV. An impressive 15% ABV makes this beer not too sessionable but worthy for a review.

My hometown microbrewery, The Sly Fox, has been canning their beer for a few years now and it was a totally alien concept when they first started. I had never seen good, quality, microbrew beer come in a can before and I doubt that many other people had either.
